Since 1983, BearFoot Kennels has been dedicated to improving this wonderful breed. How? Only the most beautiful dogs that meet and epitomize the breed standard will ever be used for breeding. Having all health checks, including OFA hips and hearts, is of high importance.

Our AmStaffs are Obedience Titled!

Obedience training is fun and can be challenging, but mostly we do it because training is the very best way to improve public image of this great breed. We believe a sound mind, like a sound body, proves to the world that American Staffordshire Terriers are a breed that has been put on this earth to love and serve us. We are not worthy! More injustices have been inflicted upon this breed than any other, yet they work their hearts out for us.

We help and encourage every new owner to train their dogs to form a forever happy and healthy relationship. Remember, your dog will be your companion for 12-15 years.

Our puppies are well socialized with people and dogs of all types. We set up problem-solving mazes and other games so that pups learn how to use their brains right from the start. We have puppy agility equipment for more fun with learning. All buyers must commit to taking their new Am Staff to puppy class and are highly encouraged to continue with obedience training.

We have several young dogs from the past two litters who are already AKC Breed Champions. More are on the way so watch for them in the breed, agility, and obedience rings.
